About Offroad Build Lab

Offroad Build Lab (ORBL) is an independent planner for off-road builds. You pick a vehicle, add mods such as tires, suspension, gearing and engine parts, and see how horsepower, torque, fuel economy, weight and ground clearance change before you spend money. It is available on the web and in the iOS and Android apps.

What you can do here

  • Plan a build: choose a vehicle, add mods and watch live performance gauges and a Build DNA profile.
  • Use the tools: compare tire sizes, preview a build, save builds to your Garage and share them.
  • Read the vehicle spec pages: every engine, transmission and axle configuration Ford lists for a version, with its sources. Start from the Ford Bronco spec pages.
  • Join the Community: see builds and posts from other off-road enthusiasts.

Who runs it

ORBL is operated by Ramon Edgardo Morales Campa, operating as Offroad Build Lab (ORBL). It is independent: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Ford, Toyota, Stellantis, General Motors or any other manufacturer. Vehicle names, trims and logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify vehicles.

Where the information comes from

  • The vehicle spec pages use manufacturer information: Ford's order guides, from Ford's own site or, for older model years, from copies of Ford documents hosted by third parties. Each page lists its sources and says which kind they are.
  • The calculator's figures (horsepower gains, weights, prices, 0-100 times) are estimates built from public research and standard formulas. They are not dyno results or official specifications. When an estimate appears on a spec page it is labeled "ORBL estimate".
  • When a manufacturer's own documents disagree about a configuration, the page leaves it out and says so instead of guessing.
  • Vehicle pictures are AI-generated illustrations and are labeled as such.

Advertising and links

Some features need an ORBL PRO subscription. People without an active PRO subscription may see third-party ads: Google AdSense on the web and Google AdMob in the apps. Ads never change ORBL's calculations or the specifications it shows. Some Amazon and eBay links include affiliate identifiers and may earn a commission. How advertising providers handle information is explained in the Privacy Policy, and the rules for using ORBL are in the Terms of Use.
