1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Use apply to the Offroad Build Lab (ORBL) website and iOS and Android apps. By creating an account or using ORBL, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. ORBL is intended for people age 13 and older. If you are a minor in your location, use ORBL with the consent of your parent or guardian.
2. What ORBL provides
ORBL offers vehicle build planning, modification information, estimated performance calculations, Garage and Community features. Vehicle specifications, prices, part availability, fitment, compatibility, power, torque, fuel economy, dimensions and capability estimates may be incomplete, out of date or inaccurate. They are educational planning estimates, not a guarantee, certified engineering analysis, safety evaluation or professional mechanical advice. Check manufacturer instructions, fitment, legality and actual vehicle measurements; use qualified professionals for installation, tuning and safety-critical work. You are responsible for how you modify or operate your vehicle.
Advertising: ORBL may show third-party ads, for example through Google AdSense on the web and Google AdMob in the apps, to users without an active ORBL PRO subscription. Ads are separate from ORBL's calculations, specifications and recommendations, which they do not change. Affiliate links are described in section 6, and how advertising providers handle information is described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Accounts and builds
Keep your account credentials secure and provide accurate information you are authorized to use. You are responsible for activity through your account, except where caused by our failure to meet applicable obligations. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Saved Garage builds are public by default unless you mark a build private. Check each build's visibility and photos before saving or sharing it. Public builds and Community content may be viewed, shared or copied by others. ORBL may set reasonable limits on free features and offer additional features through ORBL Pro; the current features and prices are shown in the app before purchase.
4. Your content and Community conduct
You retain ownership of original text, photos and other content you submit. By uploading content, you grant ORBL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format and distribute it as needed to operate the service, including showing public builds and posts to other users. We will seek separate permission before using your content in advertising outside ORBL. This license lasts while your content is available in ORBL and ends when we remove it, except for copies made by others, routine technical backups or uses legally permitted to continue. You represent that you have the rights needed to upload and share the content, including any third-party images or personal information in it.
Do not post obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit or otherwise inappropriate material; use racist, hateful, discriminatory, obscene, abusive or offensive language directed at others; or post illegal, threatening, harassing, sexually exploitative, deceptive or infringing content. Do not share others' private information without permission, spam or malicious links, or content that encourages dangerous driving or unsafe modifications. Do not impersonate others, manipulate ratings, evade bans, interfere with the service or attempt unauthorized access. You can report content and block users through the app. We may review reports, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts or permanently delete accounts for serious or repeated violations of these rules. We may take these actions without prior notice when appropriate to protect the Community, subject to applicable law. We do not promise to review every post before publication. If you believe we made a mistake, contact Support.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
If ORBL Pro is offered, the app will show the available plan, price, billing period and features before you subscribe. Purchases and renewals are charged and managed by Apple or Google under the applicable store's terms. A subscription may renew automatically until canceled through the store; deleting ORBL or your account does not by itself cancel it. You may use the app's purchase-restoration option when available. Refund eligibility and billing questions are handled under the applicable store's rules; contact us if your paid access is not reflected in ORBL. We may change future offerings or prices subject to notice and applicable store rules, without taking away paid access already owed under an active purchase.
6. Links, affiliate relationships and third-party tools
ORBL may link to product makers, marketplaces, search providers and external AI tools. Some Amazon and eBay links are affiliate links and may earn ORBL a commission. Listing a part is not an endorsement or promise of fitment. You decide whether to visit or buy from another provider, and its terms and privacy policy govern its services. ORBL's AI Visualizer may copy a build prompt for you to paste into an external tool; no result from that tool is guaranteed by ORBL.
Names, trademarks and photos of vehicle and parts manufacturers belong to their respective owners. Unless expressly stated, ORBL is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.
7. Service changes, account deletion and termination
We may maintain, update, suspend or discontinue features for operational, security or legal reasons. We will try to give notice of material changes when practical. To delete your account in the app or at offroadbuildlab.com, sign in and go to Profile → Account (tap your avatar) → Delete account. Instructions for requesting deletion without signing in are at Account deletion. As described in Section 4, we may restrict or permanently close an account for serious or repeated violations without prior notice when appropriate, subject to applicable law. Terms that by their nature continue after termination, including content rights needed for prior lawful use and dispute provisions, survive to that extent.
8. Disclaimers and responsibility
ORBL is provided with reasonable care, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free calculations or that a suggested modification is suitable, legal or safe for your vehicle. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on estimates, parts chosen or installed, driving decisions, or services provided by third parties. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights, or limits liability for our own conduct where the law forbids it.
9. Changes, applicable law and contact
We may revise these terms as ORBL evolves. We will post an updated effective date and provide further notice where required. Your continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms, where permitted by law. These terms are governed by applicable law in Mexico, without limiting mandatory protections available to consumers in their own jurisdiction.
